"I started my studies at MIIS with the English as a Second Language (ESL) and English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP) Programs. I am currently in a Master’s program for International Trade Policy. The programs greatly improved my English, and I have been impacted by students from all over the world! The ESL and EAPP Programs greatly helped me prepare for graduate studies with their diverse curriculums of study. It was challenging to study something in another language and to live in an unfamiliar place. But, I always had teachers and friends to give me tips, which became my foundation for more exploration. Also, I had lots of help with my public speaking and academic writing skills. It was enjoyable to meet friends over the world and work together! They are like family! "
