"What could be better than reaching a goal like to improve english and learning about the Hawaii history? As you can believe, it is difficult to answer! The NICE Program offers an incredible day for students. As a part of the Integrated Skills Class, on November 02, we had the wonderful experience to visit the most important and historical places in Hawaii such as Washington Place, Iolani Palace, State Capitol, State Library and US Post Office. The doors of Washington Place were specially open to us and we learned about various interesting things, that in another way maybe we couldn't. In NICE, the teachers are so nice, and our teacher, Saori planned the off-campus activity for us: we had one architect to explain about building structures and Hawaii History. We learned that to go into the depth of Hawaii's history is to go into a mix of deep feelings of respect, admiration and love. It was a unique and memorable experience and gave us a wonderful sensation of growth and learning."
